Micah was in complete charge of our honeymoon...is it any wonder he would pick a place where we could go snowmobiling???? :) Regardless...Grand Lake, Colorado was the perfect place for us to get away and spend time with each other! The area was beautiful and expressed the God's handiwork! We had a wonderful time!

Here is the cute, cozy cabin that Micah found online and arranged for us to stay at!
This is the view of Shadow Mountain Lake from the porch of our cabin.
Right when we arrived at the cabin we discovered we had a flat tire on the snowmobile trailer.
We (as in Micah) took the tire off and drove into Granby to find a tire shop!
Micah really wanted to go into the snowmobiling shop to see if they knew where we could take the tire. I was not very trusting of going there, and thought we'd be better off driving around until we found something, but Micah decided to stop anyways. The first surprise was the shop actually fixed tires!! The second surprise was all the snow gear was 50% off!! Micah and I have been looking around for me to get new snow gear because all the stuff I borrow from him and his dad doesn't fit! So we decided to buy a new helmet, snow pants, and gloves! And the amazing thing is that it ALL FITS!! YAY! We got about $500 worth of gear for only about $250!! Micah decided it could be his wedding gift to me!! Thank you honey and thank you Lord for providing!

We randomly went hiking at one spot, and met another couple on their honeymoon! They were the sweetest couple and took a picture of Micah and I, since its hard to get a picture of both of us....You can see one attempt below!

This first one is of Micah climbing Gravel Mountain. It was so steep and I was a little nervous for him! :) If you turn off our music, you might be able to hear me being a little scared!
This one is just Micah playing around...not quite as cool as the first one! And I try to some of the scenery, but its too far away!
We had a wonderful time in Grand Lake,
and highly recommend the spot to anyone who loves the outdoors!
